Vermentino 2013 : "A lovely wine, with beautifully clear aromas in the nose, light and discreet in the mouth with the white flowers notes, the wine is airy and fresh." Prix/Plaisir by Bettane & Desseauve

The Gault&Millau opinion on the wine from the Domaine de Cantaussel Minervois la Livinière Pic Saint-Martin 2011, Red

The maturing in 500 litres barrel resulted in a quite elegant wine, revealing an aromatic concentration of tobacco, coffee beans and hints from the scrubland. A young promising wine. Gault&Millau, March 2015
The 5th wine comes from the domaine Cantaussel “Pic Saint Martin” 2010 vintage. The colour is very dark, dark grenat with thin legs. The nose is a mix of dark fruits (blackcurrants, mulberries) with some toasted aromas of cocoa and spices. After aeration, we still have the dark fruits with stronger peppery notes, some intensity and freshness. In the mouth, the fresh feeling remains with some silky and fine tannins and a hint of licorice. Our best pick, after many rounds of voting, went to the “Pic Saint Martin” 2010 vintage from the Domaine de Cantaussel”(...)

"La Syrah du Pic St Martin 2006 est longue et élégante, matinée par la cerise gourmande du grenache." Jean D, chroniqueur vins
Since we have discovered it, about twelve years ago, Pic Saint Martin remains the preferred wine of the house and of our friends The nectar and ambrosia. It is powerful, but not too much, generous with some subtle nuances, delicately perfumed, with no aggressivity. There are probably excellent wines elsewhere, but Pic Saint Martin, in its price category, gives you a lot more for your money ! I have always been surprised by the fact that this wine has been ignored for all these years. Pic Saint Martin, for the happy few! Roger W.

The Gault&Millau opinion on the wine from the Domaine de Cantaussel Minervois la Livinière Soleillades 2010, Red

Good quality tannins. Hints of violets, cherry, dark fruits and spice aromas. The tannins are dense but there is also a lovely freshness. A very pure wine, with a remarkable sensory expression overall. Gault&Millau, March 2015
I enjoyed bringing the Pic St Martin 2004 to our blind tasting in 2013. Not only did this wine win unanimously against 20 other very serious competitors, but on top of that, it also is one of the cheapest... I would describe it as a wine full of character where the syrah expresses itself very well (mix of pepper, violet and liquorice), the Grenache adds a sophisticated red fruit tone (hints of kirsch) and the age reveals some delicate animal notes. Tasting this wine is an experience not to be missed, especially at this price, because it fits well above its category. Jules Hoffelt Founding member of the Oenomed Club, European Champion of blind tasting in 2008
Pic St Martin 2010 : "A modern wine because of its style: elegant, flattering and fruity, offering an unrestrained pleasure even though its breed is not questionable. " Prix/Plaisir by Bettane & Desseauve

The Gault&Millau opinion on the wine from the Domaine de Cantaussel Minervois la Livinière Pic Saint-Martin 2006, Red

Smooth and delicate tannins. The aromatic character expresses itself very elegantly, with finesse and depth. Flavours notes vary from spicy to fruity. Gault&Millau, March 2015
